Victoria, BC – A man suffered serious injuries after he was assaulted with a weapon on Monday afternoon.
On Monday, March 16th, at approximately 2:30 p.m., Patrol officers attended a multi-unit residential building in the 3000-block of Douglas Street for a report that a man was injured after being assaulted with a weapon. The man suffered serious injuries and was transported to the hospital. He is still receiving medical care.
The suspect in this file remains outstanding, however investigators believe that the victim and the suspect were known to each other, and that this was an isolated incident. Investigators do not believe that there is a risk to public safety.
