Victoria, BC – VicPD is proud to recognize the contributions of our volunteers and reserves during National Volunteer Week.

The week of April 19-25th is National Volunteer Week. This is a time to celebrate the commitment, dedication, and selflessness that are the hallmarks of volunteerism across Canada. VicPD applauds our 117 volunteers and reserves who contribute over 14,000 hours of service annually. Their contribution is critical in supporting VicPD’s mission to deliver excellence in public safety through engagement, prevention, and innovative policing.

Our volunteers and reserves give their time to promote positive community interactions and safety campaigns. These initiatives help the residents of Victoria and Esquimalt understand how they can reduce crime in their neighbourhoods and make their communities safer. Our volunteers and reserves help to support community safety, enhance public trust, and achieve organizational excellence.

VicPD salutes our volunteers and reserves, and all volunteers across the nation. Thank you!
