Victoria, BC – Officers are reminding the public that school zones are back in effect in the Greater Victoria School District.
Many students have returned to school across Greater Victoria. School zones are in effect from 8 a.m to 5 p.m. on scheduled school days. Please remember to slow down in school zones and pay close attention in order to keep our students and school staff safe.
Fines for exceeding the 30 km/h school zone speed limit range from $196 – $253, along with several penalty points.
