Centennial Square Assault With A Weapon Under Investigation

Victoria, BC – Patrol officers are investigating after a report that a man was assaulted with a weapon in Centennial Square early this morning.

At approximately 4:30 a.m. on July 6^th, Patrol officers were called to Centennial Square for a report that a man was suffering from potentially life-threatening injuries. Patrol officers attended and learned that the man was the victim of an assault with a weapon.

The victim was transported to hospital. His injuries are now considered non-life-threatening.

No arrests have been made. This file remains under investigation.
