File: 20-27469

Victoria, BC – Patrol officers are asking for your help as we work to identify a suspect in an indecent act in Cook Street Village last night.

Patrol officers responded when a woman reported that just before 8:45 p.m., she was driving her vehicle on Cook Street when she noted a man waiting to cross at the intersection at Oscar Street. She stopped for the man, who began to cross. He then stopped in front of her vehicle, turned to face her, and exposed himself. The man then fled the area. The woman was not physically harmed in the incident.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, 35 to 40 years-old, standing five feet, ten inches tall, with a medium build, weighing about 180 pounds. He was wearing a black baseball cap turned backwards, a black Under Armour brand shirt and black shorts. The woman also noted that as the suspect ran from the scene, he had a distinctive stride, running “tip-toed” away, such that his heels did not touch the ground.
