Victoria, BC – Patrol officers arrested one person after a break and enter at a downtown business this morning.
At approximately 4:30 a.m. on August 5th, Patrol officers received a report that a woman had broken a window of a business in the 500-block of Johnson Street, and was in the process of stealing merchandise.
Patrol officers responded to the scene immediately. Armed with a description of the suspect the officers quickly located the woman leaving the area in possession of stolen property. They took the woman into custody without incident.
The woman was transported to cells. She faces recommended charges of break and enter. In addition, the woman was also arrested on an outstanding unendorsed warrant for failure to comply with conditions of probation.
