Victoria, BC – Patrol officers are seeking witnesses as they investigate a mischief and arson at a local business this morning.

At 5:30 a.m. on August 11th, Patrol officers were called to a report of a fire at a restaurant in the 3100-block of Douglas Street. Officers attended and extinguished the flames. The investigation indicates that the suspect broke a window to the business, lit an object on fire, and threw it inside.

The suspect was last seen wearing dark clothing, travelling northbound on a bicycle.

Investigators are looking to speak with witnesses or anyone with information about this arson. The incident occurred at approximately 5:13 a.m.
