Victoria, BC – Patrol officers are asking for your help as we work to recover a stolen scooter belonging to a B.C. Special Olympics athlete.

At approximately 4 p.m. on September 21st, the scooter was stolen from outside of Hillside Mall in the 1600-block of Hillside Avenue.

The scooter is described as a black, two-wheeled “FLJ” brand electric scooter, with off-road tires and a light on the front fender. The serial number on the scooter is FLJ-HBC0287 and is located on the battery. There are other identifying numbers written on the front tire.

The owner of the scooter is a 54-year-old man with a disability who depends on the scooter for transportation.

Patrol officers are working to reunite the scooter with its owner.
