Victoria, BC – Detectives with VicPD’s Major Crimes Unit and Patrol officers continue to work closely with partner agencies to search for dangerous high-risk sex offender Scott Jones.
Scott Jones is a court designated dangerous offender wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for being unlawfully at large. Scott Jones has a history of violent sexual offences and is considered a high-risk to re-offend.
Scott Jones is described as a 56-year-old Caucasian man standing five feet, two inches tall, and weighing approximately 150 lbs. Scott Jones has short grey or balding hair, with green eyes. He was last seen wearing a black rain jacket, jeans, and a white bike helmet. Scott Jones may be riding a new black electric scooter.
Scott Jones was last seen yesterday afternoon in the 500-block of Johnson Street. Investigators believe that Jones continues to be in the Victoria area. A photograph of Scott Jones is available below.
