Victoria, BC – Patrol officers have arrested high-risk offender Douglas McPherson who was wanted on a Canada-wide parole revocation warrant.
Douglas McPherson was the subject of a wanted person alert this morning. He is a federal parolee with a history of convictions for bank robbery and was considered a high risk to re-offend.
At approximately 1:45 p.m. this afternoon, Patrol officers were called to the 900-block of Pandora Avenue, after an alert citizen noticed McPherson in the area. Officers arrested McPherson without incident. He will be transferred to the custody of Corrections Canada.
