Victoria, BC – Investigators are asking for witnesses and information after a pedestrian suffered non-life-threatening injuries when she was struck by a vehicle last week.
At approximately 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 17th, a woman was struck by a vehicle as she crossed Hillside Avenue at Blackwood Street on foot. The suspect vehicle fled the scene, through a red light, eastbound on Hillside Avenue. The woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the incident and did not file a report with police until the following day.
The suspect is described as a 50 to 60-year-old South Asian woman driving a beige sedan.
