Victoria, BC – Patrol officers are asking for your assistance in identifying a suspect and gathering information from witnesses after an assault on a youth on a BC Transit bus.
On Saturday, January 30th, Patrol officers received a report that an unknown man assaulted a girl on a BC Transit bus. The youth was not injured as a result of the incident.
The suspect is described as an approximately 50-year-old Caucasian man with a heavy build and long white hair. The suspect wore a collared shirt and a toque.
The incident occurred on September 27th, 2019 between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. on the number 15 bus. The incident was not reported to police until January 30th, 2021.
A witness was reported to have intervened in the incident, putting themselves in between the suspect and the youth. Investigators would also like to speak with this witness.
