Victoria, BC – A Victoria woman who was injured in a collision with a vehicle on Thursday, March 18, 2021, has died. Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this difficult time.
VicPD Traffic investigators are continuing their work on this file and are renewing their request for surveillance video of the incident.
Shortly before 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 18, 2021, Patrol officers were called the intersection of Blanshard and View streets for a report that a woman was struck by a vehicle. VicPD Traffic officers attended and BC Emergency Health Services paramedics transported the victim to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The woman has succumbed to her injuries.
VicPD Traffic investigators are continuing their work on this file. Investigators are asking anyone with information and with dash-cam or other surveillance video from the Blanshard and View streets area from the day of the collision to please save that video and call the VicPD Report Desk at (250) 995-7654, extension 1.
