Victoria, BC – VicPD Traffic officers are investigating after a man was struck by a vehicle this morning and suffered life-threatening injuries.
Shortly before 10:00 a.m. this morning, Patrol and VicPD traffic officers were called to the area of Gorge Road East and Jutland Road for a report that a man was struck by a vehicle. Officers attended and BC Emergency Health Services paramedics transported the victim to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
This file remains under investigation. Traffic on Gorge Road East, at Jutland Road, is currently closed.
