Victoria, BC – Patrol officers are asking for your help in recovering a bicycle stolen from a youth with special needs.
The bicycle was stolen from a storage shed at SJ Willis School in the 900-block of Topaz Avenue sometime over the weekend of May 21st. The bicycle belongs to a student at the school with special needs, who requires the bicycle as an essential mobility tool. Without the bicycle, the youth is unable to participate in the classroom or school environment.
The bicycle is custom-built for the youth, with specialized parts that were donated by the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The bicycle is grey, with an added set of wheels that are wider than the frame. The bicycle has black handle bars with red or pink grips, and black fenders.

This file remains under investigation. Patrol officers are working to locate and return the bicycle to the youth.
