Victoria, BC – Investigators are asking for public assistance in gathering information related to two suspicious dumpers fires in Victoria early this morning.

Shortly after 2 a.m. this morning, Patrol officers responded to two separate dumpster fires in the 1200-block of Pandora Avenue. The Victoria Fire Department was on scene and had already extinguished both fires, which were in close proximity to one another. One of the dumpsters was adjacent to a multi-unit residential building in the 1200-block of Pandora Avenue. The fire caused some heat damage to the exterior of the building. The second dumpster fire did not damage any additional property. No one was injured in either of the incidents.

Officers believe the fires to be suspicious and are continuing their investigation. We are asking anyone with information about these incidents to come forward.
