Victoria, BC – VicPD Community Services Division (CSD) officers are asking for your assistance as we work to identify a suspect involved in a theft of B.C. Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) medical equipment.

On the morning of Friday, August 6th, BCEHS paramedics reported that a case containing medical equipment was stolen while they were providing medical assistance to a patient in the 500-block of Ellice Street. The case was later recovered, but some of the medical equipment within the case was missing. The cost of replacing the medical equipment is significant.

CSD officers investigated and identified a suspect involved in the theft. The suspect is described as a man between 25 to 35 years old, standing six feet tall with a heavy build, weighting approximately 220 pounds. He has short dark brown hair and a brown goatee. He was wearing dark work boots, dirty tan work pants, a greyish blue t-shirt with a red logo on the front, and a distinctive black and red work harness and toolkit.
