Victoria, BC – Patrol officers are asking for your help as we work to identify a man who assaulted a business owner while damaging property in Victoria.
On Wednesday, August 18th, officers were called by a business owner who reported that a man had randomly damaged a sign outside his business in the 2500-block of Government Street. The owner told officers that when he asked the man to stop, the man threw an object at him, narrowly missing him. The business owner captured a photograph of the suspect.
The suspect is described as an approximately 45-year-old Caucasian man standing five feet, ten inches tall, with a medium build. He has a shaved head and was cleanly shaven except for a dark brown, moustache and goatee. He was wearing a light coloured camouflage singlet, black “Nike” brand workout pants, white sneakers and a blue backpack. A photograph of the suspect is below.
No one was physically injured in this incident. This file remains under investigation.
