Victoria, BC – Hjalmer Wenstob, Speaker for Martha Martin, and Chief Del Manak made a joint statement today on the incident which occurred at the Justice of Chantel Moore event at the B.C. Legislature yesterday. They ask that yesterday’s incident not become the focus, but instead the focus return to where it should be; on Chantel Moore, and the work that her family is doing to build better relationships between the police and the communities.
