Victoria, BC – A Victoria masseur has been charged with nine additional counts of sexual assault after an investigation by VicPD’s Special Victims Unit (SVU).

Ajesh Jacob, a 35-year-old Victoria man, was charged earlier this year with one count of sexual assault following a report in March of 2021 of an incident at a massage and reflexology business in the 700-block of Fort Street. Ajesh Jacob, who goes by the name “Sam”,  was employed as a masseur at that location at the time of the incident. SVU detectives arrested Ajesh Jacob on May 13th. He was subsequently charged with one count of sexual assault.

The investigation indicated that there were additional people who had yet to speak with police and investigators asked for those with information to come forward in June. Over the following months, SVU detectives investigated several additional allegations of sexualized violence involving Ajesh Jacob. Following those investigations, Ajesh Jacob was charged with nine additional counts of sexual assault. To date, Ajesh Jacob has been charged with ten counts of sexual assault.

This file remains under investigation.
