Victoria, BC – Patrol officers with VicPD’s Esquimalt Division are asking for witnesses after an armed robbery at an Esquimalt gas station.

Patrol officers were called to a gas station in the 900-block of Craigflower Road just after 12:30 a.m. this morning for a report of an armed robbery. Officers learned that a man had approached the clerk, displayed part of a knife and demanded money from the till. He was given a small amount of cash and fled. No one was physically hurt.

The suspect is described as an approximately 55-year-old Caucasian man, standing six feet tall with a medium build. The suspect was wearing a red checkered shirt, blue jeans and a black toque at the time of the incident. An image of the suspect is below.
