Road Closures For Victoria And Esquimalt Remembrance Day Ceremonies

Victoria, BC – Roads will be closed in Victoria and Esquimalt tomorrow during separate Remembrance Day ceremonies.

The closures in Victoria are:

• Government Street will be closed from approximately 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. between Humboldt and Superior streets.
• Belleville Street will be closed from approximately 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. between Douglas and Menzies streets.

 

The closures in Esquimalt are:

• Esquimalt Road will be closed from approximately 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. between Admirals Road and Fraser Street.
• Admirals Road will be closed from approximately 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. between Lyall Street and Esquimalt Road.

Due to COVID-19 these ceremonies will have limited attendance. However, please check your local news programming as community members are encouraged to watch live broadcasts of the events.

VicPD officers will be on site and working throughout the day to keep everyone in the area of these events safe.
