Victoria, BC – An investigation is ongoing after a youth was stabbed at Esquimalt High School this afternoon.
Shortly before 1 p.m. this afternoon Esquimalt Division Patrol officers responded to a report of a fight involving students at Esquimalt High School. During the altercation, one of the students was stabbed. The victim was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers attended and arrested one youth in relation to this incident. The youth was transported to VicPD cells and our investigation is ongoing.
No other students were injured and there are no concerns at this time for the safety of students or staff at Esquimalt High School or the nearby community.
This incident remains under investigation.
