Victoria, BC – Patrol officers are asking for your assistance as we continue to work to locate high-risk missing man Ian Indridson. An updated photo of Ian is included below.
Ian is described as a 54-year-old Caucasian man standing five feet, eleven inches tall, with a slim build. He has short salt and pepper hair. Ian is believed to be wearing black sweatpants and rubber boots. He may also be wearing a dark Eddie Bauer sweatshirt as pictured below. An updated photo of Ian is below.
Ian was last seen on the morning of Monday, January 10th. Investigators believe he may have gone to an area near the ocean. Officers continue to work to locate Ian to ensure that he is safe.
In considering all of the factors surrounding Ian’s disappearance, including the fact that it is out of character for Ian to have gone missing, investigators believe Ian to be a high-risk missing person. As defined by Provincial Policing Standards related to missing persons investigations, this means that investigators believe Ian’s health or wellbeing may be in immediate danger.
