Victoria, BC – We have deployed temporary CCTV cameras in support of our operations to ensure public safety during the Throne Speech at the B.C. Legislature on Tuesday, February 8, 2022.
We are deploying these temporarily placed, monitored cameras in public spaces in accordance with B.C. and national privacy legislation. The cameras will be taken down a short time after the event. Temporary signs are posted to ensure that those in the area are aware.
