Victoria, BC – VicPD officers are seeking additional information after a hit and run in Victoria on the weekend.

Shortly before 3 a.m. on Saturday, June 11th, VicPD officers responded to the intersection of Douglas and Courtney streets for a report that a vehicle struck a pedestrian and then fled the scene. Officers attended and located a woman who had been struck by the vehicle while standing in the intersection. BC Emergency Health Services paramedics transported her to hospital. She suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was later released from hospital.

The vehicle is described as a grey BMW sedan. It was last seeing leaving the area of the incident, eastbound on Courtney Street.
