Victoria, BC – VicPD officers are investigating after a youth was assaulted with a weapon in Victoria on Saturday night.
Shortly before 11 p.m. on Saturday, August 20th, VicPD officers responded to the 2200-block of Victor Street for a report that a youth had been assaulted with a weapon during a party. Officers arrived on scene, where over 100 youth had gathered in the street during the party. Officers located the victim, who was suffering from serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The youth was transported to hospital for medical treatment.
The investigation remains ongoing. There have been no arrests. Officers are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact police.
