Victoria, BC – Investigators are asking for your assistance as we work to locate a mobility scooter stolen on August 30th.

The owner of the scooter called police after discovering it missing from a workplace in the 600-block of Superior Street. The bicycle lock which had been used to secure the scooter had been cut and left behind.

The scooter is described as a cherry-red Shoprider brand four-wheeled electric mobility scooter. There were Christmas lights on the scooter’s canopy and there was a canvas carry bag on the rear of the scooter. A recent photo of the scooter is below.

The scooter’s owner, who has mobility concerns, requires the scooter to attend work, grocery shop and to get to medical appointments. The scooter’s theft has had a significant negative impact on their day-to-day life.
