Victoria, BC – Major Crime Unit (MCU) detectives are asking those with information to come forward as they investigate an assault which left a person with significant injuries.
Officers were called to the 800-block of Yates Street just after 2 am today for a report that a person was being assaulted. Officers arrived and located the victim suffering from significant injuries. BC Emergency Health Services paramedics transported the victim to hospital.
This incident is not believed to be a random attack and is currently under active investigation.
