Victoria, BC – Traffic will be disrupted, and we are deploying temporary CCTV cameras as we work to keep everyone safe during Monday’s Victoria Day Parade.

While we are working with organizers to help minimize impacts, traffic will be disrupted along Douglas Street, starting from Tolmie Avenue, starting at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, May 22, 2023. Full road closures on Douglas Street continue to Belleville Street along the parade route, go into effect at 8:00 a.m. The roads should be re-opened to traffic at approximately 1:30 p.m.

As with previous events, we will be deploying our temporary, monitored CCTV cameras in support of our operations to ensure public safety during the parade. The cameras will be taken down once the events have concluded. If you have concerns about our temporary camera deployment, please email [email protected]
