Victoria, BC – Investigators are asking for additional information after a hit and run that occurred last week. 

On May 31 at approximately 10:30 p.m., a vehicle was struck by another vehicle as it was travelling westbound in the 400-block of Bay Street. The suspect vehicle quickly left the scene and was last seen travelling northbound in the 2500-block of Bridge Street. It is described as a black truck or SUV with front-end damage and a BC license plate beginning with “MW.” 

The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was assessed by BC Emergency Health Services paramedics at the scene. Below is a map of the area where the collision occurred.


Investigators are looking for dashcam or CCTV footage of the collision or of the suspect vehicle in the area of the collision. If you have video footage or have additional information and have not already spoken with officers, please call the VicPD Report Desk at (250) 995-7654 extension 1.
