Victoria, BC – Officers were called to the 1800-block of Store Street Saturday night for a report of two fires that had been lit inside of a retail store. 

Just after 8:30 p.m. on September 30, store staff were alerted to a product rack on fire inside of the store. The flames were reported to be approximately eight feet high. Staff were able to put out the fire using multiple fire extinguishers. A short time later, staff were alerted to another, smaller, fire inside of the store that had been put out by a customer. 

Investigators are looking to speak with two women who were in the store at the time that may have seen the suspect(s). Investigators are also looking to speak with anyone else who may have witnessed anything or anyone suspicious in the area around the time of the fires or has any related dashcam or CCTV footage.
