Victoria, BC – Investigators have obtained images of the suspect in an unprovoked assault incident from November and are asking the public for help as they work to identify him. 

At approximately 11 p.m. on November 22, the victim was walking near the intersection of Kings Road and Fifth Street when an unknown person approached the victim and, without provocation, punched them in the face. The victim suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries and was treated in the hospital. The suspect was described as a very dark-skinned man in his twenties, approximately six feet tall with a slim build and wearing a green hoody and black track pants. 

The incident was reported to VicPD the following day and a Community Update seeking potential witnesses or CCTV footage was posted on December 15.
