Victoria BC- VicPD officers are assisting Animal Control in locating a person of interest in a disturbing incident.
On June 4th, Hillside Mall staff member located a kitten that was discarded in a shaving kit, placed in a garbage can. The kitten was taken for treatment and is still being cared for.
VicPD Officers were contacted on June 6th, and since then, have processed CCTV footage in the area. Officers have determined that a person of interest was seen in the footage and that person may have information on what happened to the kitten.
The man, pictured below, was wearing a dark coloured hoodie, jeans and white shoes and was noticeably hunched over. Officers would like to speak with the man as he may have information that would further the investigation. A video of the man can be viewed below.
The man was also associated to a dark grey vehicle. Possibly a 2010 Ford Escape. A picture of the vehicle is below.
