Kathryn Dunford is a life-long volunteer, volunteering for many years all over the world, including England, Africa, the Yukon, and for the past 21 years with the Victoria Police Department.  According to Kathryn, she joined VicPD in hopes of helping people feel safe in Victoria, and to see how the police and community work together to reduce crime.  When she started in 1997, her first assignment was at the former Fairfield Community Policing Station, and for the past 15 years, she has provided excellent support as a Front Desk Volunteer greeting the public at the main station, 850 Caledonia Avenue.

It is our pleasure to recognize Kathryn for her long-term commitment and exceptional service to the Victoria Police Department and the people she serves.
