Nagy Thomas has volunteered for most of his life by contributing to his community in variety of ways.  One of those ways is volunteering with the Victoria Police Department. With an interest in policing and public safety, Nagy joined our team 6 years ago. He is a dedicated volunteer who, despite his busy schedule as a local business owner and a devoted family man with young children, finds the time to commit to our volunteer programs.  Nagy is an important member of our Crime Watch team. You will find him, and his other teammates, patrolling selected areas and reporting suspicious activity to police.  In addition, volunteers participate in crime reduction activities and special initiatives throughout the communities of Victoria and Esquimalt. Additionally, if you ever need a translator, Nagy is your man.  Nagy speaks several languages including Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi and English.

It is our pleasure to recognize Nagy for his commitment and exceptional service to the Victoria Police Department and the communities he serves.
