Crime Reduction Unit Arrests Drug Dealer Stone’s Throw from VicPD Station

Victoria, BC- Officers from our Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) are recommending drug related charges against a Victoria area woman.

This week, CRU officers began an investigation into a drug dealer who was operating a stone’s throw from our police station at 850 Caledonia Avenue. In fact, the suspect’s drug dealing was so blatant and so close that our investigators found the best means to conduct the majority of the surveillance and investigation did not require them to leave the station.

Investigators executed a search warrant yesterday afternoon and arrested a 25-year-old Victoria woman. Officers seized drugs, money, and other evidence.

The woman was released on a promise to appear.
