Victoria, BC – Virginia was located just before 1:30 p.m. this afternoon after being missing for more than 24 hours.
Virginia was located in the 1900-block of Meadow Vale Drive in View Royal by a passerby who called the BC Ambulance Service as they were concerned for Virginia’s welfare. The Ambulance Service quickly attended and transported her to the hospital where she is receiving the necessary medical care.
VicPD would like to thank members of the Military Police, Metchosin Ground Search and Rescue Team, Peninsula Emergency Measures Organization, Victoria Fire Department, Saanich Fire Department, Westshore & BC RCMP and Saanich Police, all who assisted in searching for Virginia.
Investigators would also like to thank members of the media and citizens of the Capital Regional District who all assisted in spreading information during the search for Virginia.
